MODERN SLAVERY POLICY
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement – FY 2024/25
Approved by the Board on: 30-Oct-2025
Next Review Date: 29-Oct-2025
Signed: Sean Baber, Director, Resulting Ltd
1. Introduction and Purpose
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and describes the steps Resulting Ltd has taken during the financial year ending [insert year-end date] to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chain.
Resulting Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to developing and improving practices to ensure that these abuses have no place in our business or supply chain.
2. Our Organisation and Supply Chains
Resulting Ltd is a UK-based consultancy specialising in ERP and digital transformation services. We operate mainly within the United Kingdom and Europe, serving clients across both public and private sectors.
Our supply chain primarily consists of:
- Professional contractors and associate consultants;
- Technology and software partners;
- Recruitment and resourcing providers; and
- Business operations suppliers (IT, facilities, marketing and professional services).
Given the professional and service-based nature of our business, our exposure to modern-slavery risks is relatively low. However, we recognise that risks can exist within extended or indirect supply chains, particularly where subcontracting or international suppliers are involved.
3. Policies and Governance
Resulting Ltd maintains a framework of policies that underpin our ethical and responsible conduct, including:
- Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
- Supplier Code of Conduct (currently being updated for roll-out)
- Whistleblowing Policy
- Employee Code of Conduct
These policies outline our expectations for integrity, transparency, and respect for human rights. They are reviewed periodically and approved by the Board.
4. Due Diligence and Supplier Engagement
We are in the process of strengthening our due-diligence and supplier-management processes to better identify and mitigate risks of modern slavery. Current and planned actions include:
- Integrating modern-slavery clauses into new and renewed supplier contracts;
- Requesting supplier confirmation of compliance with our Code of Conduct;
- Taking a risk-based approach to assess suppliers, prioritising those with higher exposure based on geography, labour practices, or industry; and
- Introducing proportionate checks as part of onboarding for new suppliers and partners.
If we identify non-compliance or concerns, Resulting Ltd will engage with the relevant party to understand the issue, take corrective action where possible, or terminate relationships if necessary.
5. Risk Assessment and Management
Our initial risk assessment has identified limited inherent risk within our direct operations. However, as part of continuous improvement, we are establishing a structured approach to risk review that will consider:
- The type and location of services provided by suppliers;
- The presence of temporary or third-party labour; and
- Evolving country or sector risk indicators.
This approach will help us identify focus areas for further monitoring and engagement over the next year.
6. Measuring Effectiveness
As we mature our programme, Resulting Ltd will track progress using a small set of practical indicators, such as:
- Percentage of new supplier contracts containing anti-slavery provisions;
- Completion of staff awareness training; and
- Any reported concerns or incidents and the actions taken.
Our aim for FY 2025/26 is to establish consistent reporting against these indicators.
7. Training and Awareness
Awareness of modern slavery risks forms part of our culture of ethical business conduct. Our goal is to ensure that all employees and key suppliers understand what modern slavery is, how to recognise potential indicators, and how to report concerns.
During FY 2024/25 we are developing training and communication materials to embed this awareness more formally into onboarding and management practices.
8. Reporting and Remediation
Resulting Ltd encourages anyone—employees, contractors, or external partners—to raise concerns confidentially through our Whistleblowing Channel on SharePoint or directly to a Director.
All reports are reviewed and investigated appropriately. Should any evidence of modern slavery be found, Resulting Ltd will take immediate steps to safeguard affected individuals and work with partners or authorities to resolve the situation.
9. Continuous Improvement and Next Steps
Over the coming year, we will focus on:
1. Finalising and issuing our updated Supplier Code of Conduct;
2. Embedding modern-slavery clauses in new supplier agreements;
3. Conducting an initial review of key suppliers for risk indicators; and
4. Developing a simple annual reporting process to monitor progress.
These initiatives reflect our commitment to continual improvement and transparency, while ensuring our actions are realistic and sustainable.
10. Approval
