The Challenge

Having grown through acquisition and organically by securing large contracts - Enterprise found itself operating a highly complex business. The upshot was an equally complex IT landscape supporting business processes with a high degree of variability. Enterprise decided to implement a new ERP solution and, in parallel, sought to simplify and streamline core business processes.

The level of variability and complexity in certain areas was such that Enterprise needed to rely on external, independent expertise to drive the activity through.

The challenge would be to avoid taking easy decisions and push for transformation whilst at the same time, keeping an eye on the ability to manage change in the business.

Resulting Solution

Resulting provided experienced consulting resource to the programme with a focus on Human Resource and People related processes including complex training & qualification management - and the critical Gang Management processes which drive the selection of teams and resources based on complex business and contractual rules.

Resulting provided much simplified business process scenarios and identified a programme of both quick wins and larger improvement projects which the HR Director was able to drive through in parallel with the ERP replacement program.
