The Challenge
Despite an enviable track record for SAP implementation and business transformation projects, Axon's Application Management Services (AMS) practice represented a small proportion of Axon's global revenues.
Axon had managed to establish a small UK-based shared service SAP AMS capability serving smaller clients but could not capitalise on large business transformation clients to secure ongoing business beyond the initial SAP go-lives. In order to grow annuity revenues from Application Outsourcing, Axon needed to transform its AMS business - in terms of both delivery capabilities and market positioning.
Resulting Solution
Resulting provided 'white label' consultants to Axon's AMS practice in both SAP Service Delivery and SAP AMS Solution Architecture.
The Resulting team worked within client service delivery engagements, led CoE design teams, participated in sales / pre-sales activity and pioneered internal practice development initiatives. Working as part of the Axon teams, our people made significant contributions to delivery capability and business scale, resulting in a number of large SAP application outsourcing deals, improved customer retention and stronger SAP outsourcing market presence.
