When does SAP ECC support end?

SAP ECC mainstream support ends on 31 December 2027. After this date, SAP will no longer provide standard support, updates, or security patches. Extended maintenance is available until 2030 at higher cost, but without functional enhancements.

With typical S/4HANA migrations taking18-24 months, organisations still on ECC should begin planning immediately toavoid inflated costs and reduced partner availability.

What is the difference between RISE and GROW with SAP?

RISE with SAP: For large enterprises and complex transformations. Includes S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, BTP, and transformation services. Supports all migration approaches with greater customisation flexibility.

GROW with SAP: For mid-market or fast deployment. Based on S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition with pre-configured best practices. Limited customisation but faster implementation (4-8 months typical).
